I took a look around my closet the other day and realized I do not have a single piece of color.
Okay, maybe thatâs a dramatization but I honestly donât have a lot and lately Iâve been craving nothing but pops of chartreuse, bold red and fun statement bags and shoes. Dries Van Noten has really been pulling at my heart strings this season. I love the embellished bags! Iâve also been eyeing a few skirts by Des Phemmes.
Needless to say the winter feels as though itâs finally thawing. And yes, Iâm wildly aware that I live in sunny California so I hope you picked up on the metaphor there. For a while, style has felt quite muted. Not bad, just colorless. But lately Iâve felt something shift. The energy is different. Lighter. A little more curious.
Iâm ready to start injecting color back into my life again. The kind of color that comes from saying yes to new experiences, letting myself feel excited about whatâs next, and remembering that life is meant to be vivid.
So consider this the season where the palette starts to change again. A little brighter, a little bolder, and a lot more alive. Here are a few pieces that Iâm currently eyeing.
A few weeks ago, I headed to New York for the Tribeca Film Festival, and it turned into a weekend steeped in cinema, art, and culture.
Between screenings of Rosemead, Boy George and Culture Club, and The Last Guest of the Holloway Motel, I squeezed in as many galleries and exhibits as possible that I cannot stop thinking about.
We kicked things off at the Whitney to see Amy Sheraldâs show, which was just as powerful and mesmerizing as youâd expect.
At Pace Gallery, I was completely drawn into Alicia Kwadeâs exhibit. Her work felt like stepping into another dimension.
We made our way to Lisson Gallery to see pieces by Carmen Herrera and Hugh Hayden. Carmenâs work stopped me in my tracksâclean, bold, timeless. A standout favorite.
Iâm off to Hawaii today for a little birthday getaway, and I couldnât be more excited.
Thereâs something about Hawaii that makes vacation dressing feel like play. The colors feel brighter, the prints bolder, and the accessories a little more fun. Whether itâs a breezy floral dress, a sculptural pair of sunglasses, or a splash of gold jewelry, I always find myself stepping a bit outside of my comfort zone when Iâm hereâand loving it.
Below, Iâve rounded up a few things Iâm packing (and a few Iâm dreaming about). If youâre starting to plan your own summer escapes, I hope this edit gives you a little inspiration on what to wear whereâand maybe even adds a warm-weather treat or two to your cart.
Ginger Suit by Heidi Merrick, Bembien Straw Bag, Lucy Folk Green Dress, Red Jasper Necklace by Chan Luu, Loewe Sunglasses, Johanna Ortiz Bucket Hat, Johanna Ortiz Hat, Jennifer Fisher 10K Gold Earrings, Vacation Sunscreen, La Dolce Vita Bag by Olympia le Tan
We split up Spring Break this yearâeach of us taking one week with one of the kids.
I spent the first week in Cabo with June, and for week two, Hugh and I headed to Montecito. The Rosewood Miramar is hands-down one of my favorite spots to take little ones. Between the beach access and the adorable choo-choo train, itâs the kind of drivable getaway that feels easy and special all at once.
Dressing for Montecito is a literal dream come true for me. I love wearing warm layers because the temps can range from swimsuit worthy to sweater and pants in a matter of hours.
I also included a little inspiration board for my next trip there.
Janessa Leone Felix Bucket Hat, Jenni Kayne Pleated Skirt (use code: JACEY15), Retrouvai Lollipop Ring and Necklace, Almada the Label Sweater (over my shoulders),
For those of you whoâve been following me for a while, you know Iâve been a longtime fan of all things Dana Rebecca. What started as admiration over social media quickly turned into a friendshipâone built on shared values, creative passion, and the chaos that is motherhood.
This Motherâs Day, Dana and I decided to team up to create something special: a jewelry collection designed to feel deeply personal, timeless, and intentional. We wanted every piece to carry meaningâsomething you can wear every day, gift with heart, and pass down as an heirloom.
From one generation to the next, this collection is a celebration of the women who shape usâand the stories we carry forward.
