I'm making this binary scarf. It suggests that instead of merely knitting random zeroes and ones, that one could encode something in binary.

The description in the link does not even begin to do it justice. It's often overlooked because it's a bit off the beaten path, but it's worth the drive to go see it. Also, the boat rides there are pretty cheap and the food and drink prices at the vendors in the area can't be beat. :)

You could drive down to Ponce, see the art museum there, and then head to La Parguera and you'd have a full, wonderful day.

In my ideal world, anyone who has anything even remotely to do with public policy has to take an IQ test and score with normal intelligence or above.

Operation Rescue is planning 40 days of protests of Planned Parenthood clinics all over the US starting in late September.

My understanding is that what these guys do is just sit in front of the building and pray, as is their right guaranteed by the US Constitution. I believe Jesus called people who did that hypocrites, though.

Planned Parenthood provides reaproductive health care services to women regardless of their income.

These guys? Eeeehhhh... not so much.

Seems if you guys really wanted to stop abortions, you would support access to sex education that includes contraception, and access to low-cost or free contraceptives and pre-natal care*. Talking to your invisible sky wizard has proven to be not very effective in accomplishing anything.


*If only there were an organization out there that provided these things.... hmmmm....
