Revisit!

Yeah! Long time away from this blog. Revisit is the apt word i guess. Procrastination/laziness/workload/lack of enthusiam i may have various reasons to explain my absence at the blog world! But telling the truth, few days pass by such that the incidents happening around you gets you overwhelmed :) and rest of the time goes into contempleting those things! Ahh, but sadly enough most of days are same old..wake up, get ready, office, back home, eat, sleep, and repeat this for 5 days! But life has changed for sure, for better or worse, i guess for better!

I had this thought of closing this blog too..it has been almost an year since i started it and now i have lost that enthu of writing + there's not much to write either. But lets see how long i continue. Have been very lazy again in posting up Spain pics. I am thinking of a new blog where i will post some pics..! As such i have been complimented that I am good at photography! Watchout for update!

Visiting Malaga!!

Flying tommorrow to Malaga, Spain! :) Its a one week competence transfer program for me. Loads of work bundled with plains of Andalucia to explore. Yeah it should be a nice trip with beautiful weather and a whole new place to admire. I will be staying at Posados de Espana.

Hey ppl...my car has arrived!! got it home last night..i just LOVE it :D Have a look at few pics here! Its a 4 Door Sedan, White Honda Civic LX and i can go gaga over it nonstop..:P

A Long Overdue!

Yeah..i am back to my blog after a long break! Didnt I have much to write?? Not exactly! Actually too many things happening and I was kinda struggling to get everything into just in their place! Alas i got some free time thanks to my broken car I am stuck in the library of my bro's university..That does not make up for news anymore..i have got used to all the breakups of this car. And I am done with it, cant handle it anymore. For once i have learned the harder way with this car. Yes i know what to do if you land up with a flat tyre, when the battery would die off..or your car just breaks down on a freeway! All this happened with me and poor ppl travelling with me (who have now sweared NOT to sit in the car! ) within last month itself. Looking back just a month or two i see myself happier sitting on the passenger's seat, but now being on the drivers seat its more freaking as it could be.

Finally my car search has got over too.. i shall say MAYBE untill i get the keys and title on my name. Its a white Honda Civic LX model. Looks good, drives nice too and i will own it from 3rd of this month. Yeeyyy! But trust me its lot more of stress than joy to own a car. After each step ahead the list of bills to be paid just increases!

Zeroed the Insurance on the car also. Its Geico. I was surprised indeed with the low rate i got, it was due to the fact tht i am a member of SWE, GPA of my masters degree, i stay with my family (yeah right i stay with my brother so i can say tht confidently :P), and morever coz m a female..Woah!! Yeah you got tht right!! females are considered safe drivers than men :P

Moved into new apartment also. Just few signal lights away from UTA near to all the restaurants and grocery stores its a nice little apartment for me and my bro. And the feeling of staying by yourself after living in crowded place with roommates is indeed a great comforting one. Shopping for the home never ends too! I have been bitten by the shopping bug :P Everything looks tempting to get into my closets!

Apt search, car search and lot more searches have filled up my days and i feel i have learned a lot in short time! And sighh..i have a got an year older too. My birthday too went pass at the end of 2005. Sadly everyone i found around me is younger than me! And in UTA too new crowds have taken their place and we are the good old seniors who are there for seeking advices only! life's come to a full circle..hmm

well guess i am done with my doze of rants for the day!

Passed the test!!! :)

Yipppeeeeeeee!! Feels like I am the happiest person on earth today! I cleared the driving test in first shot :D Yeah, It was my scariest nightmare to clear the test. Well not exactly first shot, but at 2nd trial on the same day! Believe me its sooooo much a relief :) You cannot do anything without a car here..Now I can "officially" drive, rent a car, or buy one as a matter of fact ;) After all those moolah i chalked out for the driving lessons, i had to make it. Left home around 6:15 in the freezing morning and came back at 11ish without a single grain in my stomach..yeah i need to grab something really fast after this post.

Christmas would be fun this time as my dear bro' will be here with me. Dont have anyother plans for the holidays except to get certain things done. And I have to ramp up on the new project assigned to me in short time..so i guess that will keep me fairly busy too. Till then..Merry Christmas everyone :) Enjoy the yummy christmas cakes! :P
