Teenage Fanclub are not likely to win any new fans with their latest album, but for their loyal following this is a welcome arrival after a long gap. The 3 writers , Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley and Gerard Love share the workload with 4 songs each. Their trademark vocal harmonies, catchy tunes ,and gentle peace and love vibes are all in evidence. The songs glide gently and pleasantly by, life affirming, with no duff tracks among them. So another great album to add to their memorable catalogue, you know what to expect, and they deliver. My favourite track is probably I have nothing more to say, I love its gentle woozy start, it just reels me in. The whole album hangs together beautifully as a whole and feels mellow ,upbeat and summery, well done TFC, long may you continue, another great addition , continuing going from strength to strength

Another excellent album from TFC.

This band are simply magnificent and Here is full of melodic,beautifully crafted songs. For me Gerry Love is one of the all time great songwriters and I am gutted he has left the band. Norman Blake is not far behind and Ray McGinley is a fine song writer in his own right. If this is the last album TF make with all 3 writers in place it is a fitting finale and,for me, beaten only by the wonderful GrandPrix and my favourite TF album Songs from Northern Britain

Prior to purchasing this I recently read a review that criticized the sameness of the tracks. However, the reviewer was wrong and I think that they were reacting to Teenage Fanclub's signature sound being similar on some of the tracks. Nothing wrong with that for as a fan I love that sound - sometimes joyous and sometimes melancholic but always with startlingly bright guitars ans beautiful harmonies. Three song writers with four songs each: a democracy that works. All their influences are laid bare here and yet each of the song smiths manage to graft their own personalities onto the perfect melodies.

A decent record, not up there as their finest, anything past the first 5 albums just doesn't quite have the awesomeness, but for alt rock indie fuelled album, it's a very good listen and well worth adding if you're a fan

Another awesome album from Teenage Fanclub. Every single album has 1 or 2 songs that make my spine tingle and this is no exception. It's beautiful and gentle. I just wish they'd release one more often!

I love this album! They get better with age, yet still have their own, unique style.

Mes premières écoutes pas assez attives m'ont fait planer le doute sur cet album du TFC. Comme tout bon disque, il faut du temps pour apprécier les mélodies toujours bien ciselées des 3 compositeurs écossais. Comme a chaque fois, Here se révèle un très bon disque de pop. Fan du groupe, foncez sans regret !

Another gem!

Very impressive effort. Although they haven't released as many recordings as many of their contemporaries, fans can count on high quality song writing from this great Scottish band.
