    I would recommend reading the first book before reading this one.

    Sean has seen his brother Donal break the curse they are under, the one keeping them trapped in stone. Although Sean is happy for his brother, he feels a bit jealous that he has yet to find his own fairy. But when Colleen comes to visit Ireland after on vacation, he realizes he might have just found his fairy and a way to break his curse.

    I liked Sean, but Colleen was more annoying. She seemed to run very hot and cold, and I just couldn't buy the romance between her and Sean. She has been friends with Meg (heroine from the first book) for years, but that friendship didn't seem to play a factor in believing about the gargoyles and fairies. You would think that given the way Meg's story played out she would have some hint. This book was just needed more world-building and depth of character to make the story more enjoyable. I'm still not entirely getting the fighting between the goblins and the fairy. Clearly the goblins have a way to track the fairies (and I'm not getting how they have maneuvered themselves into the positions that they have), but there is something missing to really make their manipulations believable.

    *I had an ARC edition, so I only rated/reviewed based on the story and not on the quality of the editing/formatting.

    Another win for the gargoyles and fairies.

    Sean, the second cursed gargoyle brother, finally found his fairy. It is Colleen, his brother's wife's best friend. Colleen is not gonna be as easy to convince as Meg was. Colleen is a lawyer and thinks Sean and Meg are crazy. Sean wants to try to end the conflict without violence. After being snatched by the goblin, Colleen is willing to believe anything Sean says to stay alive and Sean is not going for peaceful this time. I love the premises of these books and how they have made their way to the US with the girls. One more brother to go. I voluntarily reviewed a free advanced copy of this book from Booksprout.

    This is the second book in the When Gargoyles Love series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. There's action, adventure, drama, danger, suspense, twist/turns, enemies, survival, intrigue, humor, mystery/secrets, surprises, family, anger, fear, pain, friends/friendships, conflict, resolution, confusion, confidence, strength, courage, trust, truths, stubbornness, struggles, protection, threats, arrogance, annoyance, tension, chaos, frustration, turmoil (emotional), determination, patience, sacrifices, curses, attitudes, memories, acceptance, happiness, romance, passion/lust and love.

    The h is a lawyer and her client is a goblin. The H is her gargoyle protector. Can he keep her safe?

    This short story is littered with errors. E.g. Tooi. Words have been crossed out but left in. Even at a $1 it was frustrating.

    While I enjoyed the story and the characters there were some errors throughout the book. Since I received this as an ARC I am hoping that these will all be cleaned up prior to the book being published.

    Fate of a Gargoyle is the second story in Chris Redding’s When Gargoyles Love series and tells of the curse which has kept Sean Foley in his stone form until he is mate finds him and breaks the curses bond. For a short story, there’s a good plot and storyline and the interactions between the Foley brothers is always entertaining. Plenty of mystical creatures and paranormal activity make this a fun and engaging read.

    This was another great Gargoyle story that tells of the curse that has keep Sean in his stone form until his mate fins him and breaks the curse. Good storyline that kept me entertain until the book was done. Coleen has no idea that she is a fairy and that Sean is her gargoyle protector. Will he be able to convince Coleen before the goblin's kill her? I can't wait until the next book. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    I think the mark of a good book is that you stay awake, past your bedtime, to read it. I liked this book better than the first, possibly because I knew a bit more about the myth of gargoyles and fairies, so there was less of a learning curve and I could just enjoy the story. I liked how it was set in a law firm, which is something we can all understand. And the writing was so descriptive, which helps because to make the story effective, the reader has to be able to see in their mind what these creatures really look like. I do wish there'd been a bit more about the challenges a gargoyle must face by living in our tech world, and I'd also like to have known more about life back then, and I'd love information on other Irish lore.
