    With the word “Mom” literally all over the title, you’d think that a dad like me might not enjoy or find use from a book like this. Good thing that thinking is wrong.

    I love how Vanessa is clear that her recommendations – based on great research, professional experience, and her own motherhood – will require tough decisions and hard work. But the tests, tips, and thought experiments all seem so doable with the way she breaks down each step into ones where it seems silly not to do them.

    Getting specific, I particularly appreciated the “No” Users Manual. I’ve always been able to say no to requests for my time and attention, but I’ve never actually done it with tact or had the other person smile afterwards. What Vanessa provided is practical, easy to try, and just plain works. I also appreciated all the links throughout the book so I could learn more about a certain topic with just one click. Vanessa and Dan Hayes know how to curate, building extra value on top of an original source.

    When I wasn’t being educated, which happened the whole way, I was being entertained. The humor starts right from the beginning and continues all the way through the (highly useful) appendices. This book delivers value through the very last word â€Ķ and will make a lasting impact (even if you only take action on a fraction of it).

    Vanessa's book starts by acknowledging "it's not just you...society has changed big time."

    It's nice to read what I think to myself day in and day out.

    Vanessa is definitely here to help you to tackle this new age we live in where our houses are bigger, our digital data seems endless, and we feel pressure to commit to so many things.

    The book lays out not only how to get more organized, but why. It's the why that I find most compelling and keep coming back to read.

    My favorite part is on not buying more stuff to organize your stuff, but rather tactics and strategies to organize a fully functional space.

    I also enjoyed the questions to ask yourself to be a more mindful shopper.

    If you are looking to better understand how to simplify your life and allow more room for focus and meaning, buy this book now. You'll be happy you did.

    I have fallen into the trap in the past that I needed to buy more organizing 'stuff' to contain my 'stuff'. This book persuades you that in order to be more organized you need to get rid of more stuff. Great message that I have now subscribed to full throttle thanks to Vanessa and Dan Hayes' clear and simple message written/given by normal people like you and me. If you are a person that feels you just cannot get organized because you just must not be a naturally organized person you need to buy this book. Looking forward to the future books in this series.

    This book is a helpful guide for any mom. As a single mother working full time I frequently feel exhausted and overwhelmed by all the pressures to do everything for my child. This mom is tired!

    I appreciate the useful information this book offers. Dan and Vanessa have a way of offering great ideas in a way that inspires me rather than overwhelming.

    The advice in this little book is great: practical, fast, easy to read and understand, and easy to implement. The system reminds me very much of The FlyLady system, which also works very well. I think the key is to take the advice in small steps... You can't organize in a day what you spent years making a mess of, lol.

    This book has the information my family has been looking for! It is a detailed guide on how to manage the clutter/chaos that comes along with having kids. It is loaded with inspiring and informative "how-tos" as well as helpful links to articles, videos and other resources.
