Remember the unreleased Kaminari no Gotoku: Choukousoku Igo "Go" game I posted about a while back? Now there is also a prototype page available, shedding some light on the prototype auctioned off on ebay. 

To make it a little more interesting, Team Carrot has returned with yet another prototype release - yes the cart was purchased and yes it was dumped and is available from the link below

After more than 10 years without an update, time flies I guesss, the N64 is finally getting some well deserved love, in the shape of a new look as well as a major cleaup of the data has started. The N64 list was probably started some 20 years ago and along the way have sure have made some mistakes that is coming around to haunt me now.

But either way, I am working on updates for the N64 alongside everything else and remember that updates to the release lists will not hit the news/recent updates, so make sure to check in to see if there is progress on the actual subpage, which can be found here

Unfortunately the site is being heavily "attacked" by various bots, harvesters and other, so much that it sometimes becomes unresponsive. Instead of working on new content the past few days, I have instead been fighting all the bots who thinks that the site's content is up for grabs whenever they feel like it, or they simply just want to be a pain in the... yeah you get it i'm sure. 

It means that I have had to turn up cloudflare's aggressiveness towards everyone, meaning you will be promped by cloudflare either active or inactive to verify who you are.

I really wish it did not have to be this aggresive, but without cloudflare the CPU usage is at a constant 100% and the site becomes unresponsive at times. Right now everything is under control, we have plenty of resources available - but only thanks to Cloudflare, and it almost sounds like paid advertisement even though it's not.

As likely most of you, I also saw the discovery of a "new variant" of Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt and while it really has no interest to me, because to me the news was worthless, so are the carts. Apparantly I am not alone with that thought. To me it sounds like someone trying to hype something to make a buck, a big one, but maybe that's just me.

NESWORLD is now viewable on a phone, there's still work to be done, but at least it works now :-)

So I needed to show someone something today and I finally realized how bad it was when browsing the site on a phone and it turns out that the code only needed some minor tweaks to make it work - yes there's still some issues left that needs to be ironed out, but hey now it at least works (for pages that have been moved to the "newer" non-boxy layout).
